The challenge
A hydrofoil wing combines a thin, sharp trailing edge, a curved planform and a surface finish that directly affects how it performs on the water. The mold has to split cleanly along the leading and trailing edges, keep both halves accurately aligned, and release the part without damaging those thin edges.
[Add the specific brief: wing size, constraints, quantities and what was needed.]
What we did
Stage 1
Geometry review
We checked the wing for draft, edge thickness and demolding risk before any mold design started.
[What you found and changed.]
Stage 2
Parting line & alignment
We placed the parting line along the leading and trailing edges and added alignment features so the two halves register accurately on every cycle.
[Your actual design decisions.]
Stage 3
Mold CAD & files
The final mold was delivered as CAD and drawings, ready for manufacturing.
[File formats delivered, any optimization analysis.]
The result
[Describe the outcome: finished part, how it released, surface quality, numbers if you have them.]
